Sound Familiar?
“I've always loved taking photographs. I finally bought a proper camera, but now I feel completely overwhelmed by it.”
“I know the basics, but when I actually have to photograph someone, I don't know what I'm doing.”
“I want to take better photographs of my family, friends, travels or life - but I want to understand photography properly.”
“I'd love to explore photography more seriously, but I don't know where to start.”

You don't need another photography tutorial.
You might just need someone to figure it out with you.
So you've bought the camera.
You've watched the YouTube videos.
You've heard about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field... and somehow, you're still not entirely sure what you're doing.
I've been there.
And that's why I created Photogenetics Photography Mentoring.
Because learning photography isn't just about knowing what every button on your camera does.
It's about learning to see.
It's understanding light.
It's knowing what to do when the light isn't perfect.
It's photographing a person without making them feel awkward.
It's looking at a photograph you've taken and understanding why you love it.
And eventually, it's trusting yourself enough to stop wondering whether you're doing it "right."
How we'll work together
01 — We chat
Before we start, we'll talk about where you are with photography, what you're hoping to learn and what's currently frustrating you.
No assumptions. No one-size-fits-all programme.
02 — We learn
I'll break down the technical side of photography in a way that makes sense to you.
No unnecessary jargon. No information overload.
Just the things you actually need to know.
03 — We shoot
Because you can't learn photography entirely from a screen.
We'll put the camera in your hands and practise.
We'll experiment.
We'll make mistakes.
And we'll figure things out together.
04 — We look
We'll go through your photographs together and talk about what you're seeing.
What worked.
What didn't.
What you might try differently next time.
05 — You keep exploring
You'll leave with practical things to work on between sessions, so your photography can keep growing long after our time together.

Find your frame.
You don't need the most expensive camera.
You don't need to know everything before you start.
And you don't need to become the next big photographer.
You just need a willingness to look at the world a little differently.
I'll help you with the rest.
Let's learn to see together.
