My Story
Photography, for me, didn’t start with weddings. It started quietly - with macro photography in the Drakensberg Mountains. I was drawn to the small things back then - light on a leaf, texture, the kind of detail most people walk past. Over time, that shifted… from noticing the beauty in nature to noticing it in people. And that’s where everything changed.
Alongside photography, I also work as a counsellor and consultant. Which means I don’t just see what’s happening - I feel into it. I notice the shifts, the energy, the in-between spaces. And weddings are full of those moments.
That’s why my favourite parts of a wedding day are always the ceremony and the couple shoot.
There’s something incredibly grounding about watching emotion build - the anticipation, the nerves, the meaning - and then seeing it all flow, soften, and settle as the day unfolds. It’s a privilege to witness, and even more so to capture.
My approach to wedding photography and videography is simple and honest. I’m not there to turn your day into a production. I’m there to be present with you, to gently guide when needed, and to give you space to actually experience your wedding.
I lean into natural, minimal, and emotive storytelling - the kind that feels like you. The kind that doesn’t age.
If you’re someone who values connection, who wants to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and who cares more about real moments than perfect poses - we’ll probably get along really well.
And if there’s coffee involved, even better.
